Although in recent weeks news regarding Galaxy S9 and S9+ have become pretty common, for a while now, rumors suggested that Samsung is planning on introducing a new upper mid-range smartphone. And now, an official user manual in the Samsung website seemingly confirms that we might get the smartphone sooner than later.
In the official Samsung website, you can now download the upcoming smartphone’s user manual which provides a glimpse of what we might be getting when the smartphone is announced by the South Korean company.
Images in the user manual have shown that Samsung is bringing the Galaxy S8’s Infinity Display design to the upcoming smartphone. In case you were wondering, the images don’t contain any physical home button which Samsung removed from both Galaxy S8 and Note 8. Despite that, the smartphone will contain little bit thicker than both of the flagship devices.
As for specifications, the handset will feature dual front-facing cameras, a light sensor, a front-firing speaker, an LED indicator, a SIM card tray, and a multi-purpose USB-C jack on the bottom of the phone.
The document also outlined a bigger version of the phone which might come with little bit higher price tag. Galaxy A8 is rumored to feature a 5.7 or 5.8 inch screen which Galaxy A8+ will feature larger 6-inch screen. However, since Samsung hasn’t made any official announcement so far, we will have to wait to find out about the release date of the upcoming smartphone.
