Earlier last year, Google launched its unified payment solution Tez in India to give users more options to complete their payments on a regular basis. Now, the search engine giant is making the application easier to use as you will be able to add a bill recipient once to make future transactions quicker.
The latest news comes via an official announcement from the company which revealed that initially the new feature will support over 90 different companies and organizations such as lectricity, water, and gas providers and well as TV, mobile, and broadband providers.
In the official announcement, the company said, “For most recurring utility bills, Tez will fetch any new bill and send you a timely notification when it arrives. Checking whether you’ve paid a bill in the app is as simple as tapping the biller’s name on your Tez home screen. There, you’ll be able to view all past payments grouped by biller, as well as manage bills from multiple accounts.”
In order to find out if your service provider is supported in Tez, you will need to follow some easy steps. First open Tez, then from the bottom of the screen, slide up and tap on New. Afterwards, type the service name and follow the instruction of the app. If you have found the service provider, tap on the name and select, ‘Make Payment’. At this point, you will be able to select an account. Shortly afterwards, you will be able to see two options: Pay a custom amount or Pay an available bill. After it’s done, you will be able to play the bill successfully by following the on-screen instructions.
