Television shows recently have hard time keeping people dead and Supernatural isn’t different as the show is known for bringing back characters who are been killed off during course of a season. In the 12th season, the show killed off two of the major characters and it seems that the show isn’t bringing back Crowley for season 13.
Recently Actor Mark Sheppard confirmed via Instagram that his character won’t be back for upcoming season. He said with an Instagram post, “So to all my #spnfamily everywhere… my crew and my fellow storytellers… thanks for the ride. Time for something new. Even when I lose…”
This latest confirmation might come up as a disappointment for fans who expected that the character might be coming back in the next season. However, the good news is that fans won’t be speculating about the future of the show as the character chose his fate during the season finale.
Despite this confirmation, there are still good chances that the character will come back to the show in future given that Supernatural has always found a way to revive its characters in past. As of now, we can only wait to see if the writers bring Crowley back in future. Supernatural is set to return with its 13th season in the fall.
