While Google had extremely high expectations with Stadia, launch of the game streaming platform has been pretty disappointing overall thus far. Technical problems aside, the service did not feature whole bunch of titles. But Google is set to release more titles in the coming weeks for the ‘Pro’ subscribers.
The company has confirmed that Google Stadia will offer 4 new titles for free to Stadia Pro subscribers. As some of the users purchased the titles separately, they will get a refund in case they are subscribed to Stadia Pro plan.
Apart from Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Farming Simulator 19, Destiny 2: The Collection & the Samurai Showdown are now part of the free games available through Stadia Pro subscription.
In case you are interested in claiming these games, you will need to log into Stadia app to claim the titles. As mentioned earlier, you will need to be an active subscriber of Stadia Pro to claim these titles. Moreover, you will need to remain enrolled in the program to access the titles in the future.
As users have expressed their disappointments over the service not offering a whole lot of games at start, it will be interesting to see how Stadia changes its strategy in the coming months. Few days earlier the company announced that it will be opening dedicated Stadia studios in the coming months. But we will need to wait several more years before getting meaningful stadia exclusives.
